The Capital Markets Analyst Program

The Capital Markets Analyst Program is an entry-level program tailored for current undergraduate seniors interested in joining a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment post college graduation. Analysts are hired for Capital Markets into groups which include Debt Capital Markets, Investment Grade Loan Origination, Leveraged Capital Markets, Syndicate, and Corporate Rate Sales. Upon commencement of the full-time Analyst Program, Analysts will participate in intensive and interactive training. Specifically, training will cover a wide range of areas including accounting, corporate finance, financial statement analysis, product knowledge & forecasting and valuation techniques. Following the training program, Analysts will have an immediate impact and should expect accelerated responsibilities. They will have the opportunity to meet and work with their peers and colleagues across all levels and business areas within the firm.



RBS seeks applicants who are seniors with an expected graduation date of May 2015. Qualified candidates should demonstrate superior quantitative and analytical capabilities along with demonstration of academic achievement. Candidates should also have a track record of leadership and teamwork aptitude as well as exceptional written and oral communication skills. Extensive coursework in Finance, Accounting, Math, Engineering or Economics is preferred, but all are encouraged to apply. As a Capital Markets Analyst, you’ll need to be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a keen interest in the financial markets. Creativity, intuition, and intellectual curiosity are also highly valuable qualities.
